The purpose of this text is to specify the responsibility of users, in accordance with the legislation, in order to ensure a correct use of the knowledge hub of the African Capitals of Culture; with minimum rules of courtesy and respect for others for consultation on our premises. In addition, it acknowledges that discussions, postings, conferences, electronic messages and other items exchanged by other users are not deemed to have been endorsed by the African Capitals of Culture and that such communications are not deemed to be reviewed, selected or approved by the African Capitals of Culture. These messages claim or suggest that they come from, or are associated with, African Capitals of Culture. Some of these emails request detailed information and/or money from individuals, companies or charities, promising them that they will receive funds or other benefits in return. These are criminal activities of fraud on the advance payment of fees.
