AFRICAN CIRCUS ARTS FESTIVAL
The African Circus Arts Festival is an initiative of Fekat Circus, a circus founded by young Ethiopian jugglers and acrobats in 2008 in Addis Ababa. This event had its first edition in 2015 in Addis Ababa, bringing together circus artists on an African stage for the first time. It is one of the most active social circuses in Ethiopia, giving young African circus artists the opportunity to express their talent and make themselves known.
As part of the Marrakech 2020 event, a pan-African circus programme will be proposed by Fekat Circus in the city of Marrakech and its region, in partnership with the Moroccan company Théâtre Nomade.
